Hi3531 is the high performance SoC, which supports 16 channel@D1 or 8 channel @ 960H/720p simultaneous encoding and decoding, when it works in NVRs, it offer 8 channel @ 720p or 4 channel @ 1080p video decoding, since it's unnecessary to decode network video stream, a NVR based on Hi3531 may support more than 16 channel video streams. In terms of DVR/NVR, decoding capability means how many video streams can playback simultaneously on the device.
